Meenkunnu Beach House is a secluded boutique resort resting on a cliff face in a rustic surrounding on the Malabar Coast of Kerala at an altitude of 4500 feet. We are 12 kms away from kannur town in the village of meenkunnu . It takes about … minutes to reach the resort from Kannur  town. It’s a very scenic drive on the beach stretch from  payyambalam  , the last few kms to the resort is an off road adventure. Be prepared to ride across some rough terrain through a dirt track, with the rollicking waves providing company. 
The experience at Meenkunnu Beach is unlike any other, you’ll enjoy nature at its bountiful best. Meenkunnu Beach is not only a destination it’s also a dream. Offering enchanting nature walks where you can enjoy some stunning vista, treks of varying durations to suit your preference, including the beach, camp fires and the occasional village detour …

If you are driving  over, we provide parking slots. Our vehicles are also available for a nominal charge.

We understand our responsibility in preserving the web of life and suggest our guests do the same. Our guests experience and feel a connection with nature, mutually supporting the tapestry of life and the local village inhabitants who are all mutually dependent.  We are very careful in our conservation practices, as it relates to the local way of life, the native flora and fauna and other ecological resources and consider the importance of these things in relation to nature and the balance of natural agencies.
Ecologically safe practices at Meenkunnu Beach House include leveraging solar power, wind mills, wood fueled water heaters, waste/compost recycling, organic and chemical free farming of fruits and vegetables.
